Received first art lessons at age 10 in Newton Center, MA
Began sculpture studies at age 13 : Saturday Classes, Boston Museum of Fine Arts
Studied Art History and Sculpture at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, while working for a BA degree
in English Literature (1945-1949)
Sculpture with Jose de Creeft at Skowhegan School of Art (Summer,1948)
Graduated from Dartmouth College (1949) : BA degree in English Literature (Magna cum laude – PBK)

Worked, from 1960 to 1993 – first as an independent collaborator, then as a part-time employee – as a translator and reader of Italian cultural news programs for the United States and other English-speaking nations, in the short-wave radio sector of RAI-Radiotelevisione italiana, Italian Public Radio and Television
Has written an unpublished volume of poetry in English, entitled Roman Poems
